Paying homage to the musical's black & white B-movie origins, this production was set in a colorless world with costumes & set pieces that grew in vibrance as a reflection of the influence of the otherworldly Audrey II plant. The set features 30+ hand-painted advertisements (including a 19ft. monster movie billboard), translucent scrim turntable walls, and an assortment of brickwork all meant to be rendered in the style of a graphite drawing.
