Vince Salpietro
ABOUT ME
Vince Salpietro (he/him) is currently a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Theatre Design & Technology in the University of North Alabama's Cinematic Arts & Theatre department, where he's developed the new BFA concentration in design/tech. He is the former Resident Scenic Designer & Charge Artist from Cincinnati Shakespeare Company and an MFA graduate in Production Design & Technology from Ohio University. His scenic design credits include The Library, Middletown, The Skin of Our Teeth, Brick Monkey Theater Ensemble’s Annapurna, CSC’s Twelfth Night, as well as UNA's recent productions of Chatroom, Iphigenia & Other Daughters, A Doll's House Pt. 2, Waiting for Godot, and A Doll's House. Vince has worked professionally as backdrop designer for Philadelphia's Enchantment Theatre Company, charge artist for Tantrum Theater & Adirondack Theatre Festival, and scenic art apprentice at the Santa Fe Opera.
